So, you want to travel, but your friends are all lame and won’t go with you.
I know it’s stressful right now, but relax! You don’t have to hate your friends because they’re not as fun as you.
If you sign up for an EF College Break trip, you won’t actually travel alone.
We send you with groups of awesome people between 18-28. You know what that means? No creepy old guys.
Our trips are full of cool, young people that you actually want to hang out with.
Half of our travelers sign up solo, so maybe you’ll be a little nervous the first few minutes.
But everyone just wants to be friends and have a great time together, so the shyness goes away quickly.
Traveling solo gives you the flexibility to do whatever you want, whenever you want, but you’ll also have a built-in group of people to hang out with. By the end of a trip, our groups are super close and keep in touch for years to come. Don’t take our word for it though, hear from our travelers themselves:
Jessika Elizabeth I have traveled solo with EFCB twice and with a friend once. Both were really great experiences, but there is something really special about traveling solo. It opens you up more to get to know the others on your tour and it also opens you up to get to know yourself better! It’s a really amazing experience that I would recommend to every young adult!
Kaitlin Cibich I traveled solo to Ireland. I was completely terrified but it was the best experience! Probably 90% of the group was solo. Going alone allows you to have the experience as you want to. You decide how you want to spend your free time. I grew and learned so much about myself in just a week, plus our tour guide Katie really made sure we became immersed in the culture while feeling comfortable. When I came home, my family and friends told me I carried myself more confidently and happy. I still keep in contact with everyone from the trip, plus 3 of us traveled to NYC for New Year’s to reconnect.
